Join the Children's Board of Hillsborough County with FREE museum admission the first Tuesday of every month. MUSIC IN THE MUSEUM

OCT 14-30   MAD THEATRE PRESENTS THE TOXIC AVENGER
Based on Lloyd Kaufman's cult film and winner of the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical, The Toxic Avenger is a charming love story and laugh-out-loud musical that has it all: an unlikely hero, his beautiful girlfriend, a corrupt New Jersey mayor and two guys who play...well, everyone else...bullies, mobsters, old ladies and stiletto-wearing back up singers. OCT 30   ANNUAL RIVERWALK TRICK OR TREAT
Children in costume and their families are invited to come and trick or treat along the Riverwalk as well as enjoy fun activities. We will have over 50 treat stations participating along the Riverwalk from Water Works Park to USF Park including Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. DEC 1-23  VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS STROLL
This historically-rich exhibit examines and explores the significance and impact of Booker T. Washington's 1912 address in Tampa - a mostly forgotten chapter of local history. DEC 17 - JAN 2   RIVERWALK HOLIDAY HUNT
The Riverwalk Holiday Hunt is a mobile-based scavenger hunt along the Tampa Riverwalk. Individuals and/or teams will compete to be the Holiday Hunt winner as they make their way through the Holiday Hunt by solving puzzles, completing holiday challenges and answering historical Tampa trivia. This event is free to the public. You must download the mobile app Mobile Adventures to participate. JAN 15  GASPARILLA BASH 2022

JAN 29  GASPARILLA INVASION
Pirates invade and capture the City of Tampa in one of the largest and most unique celebrations in the country! The Jose Gasparilla leads a flotilla northward up Seddon Channel to dock at the Tampa Convention Center. JAN 29  PARADE OF THE PIRATES
The pirates celebrate their victory by parading along Bayshore Blvd, at 2pm, passing out trinkets and treasures to thousands along the route until they come to a stop at Cass St and Ashley Dr in Downtown Tampa.  813-251-8844  GasparillaPirateFest.com

FEB 12  SANT'YAGO ILLUMINATED KNIGHT PARADE
Come party at the Illuminated Knight Parade- featuring illuminated floats, plenty of music and dancing, and lots of beads. The parade begins at 6:30pm along 7th Ave in Ybor City, and the party extends into the early morning hours.  KnightParade.org

FEB 26-27  GASPARILLA DISTANCE CLASSIC
Taking place since 1978, The Gasparilla Distance Classic Association will host this year's 15K and 5K races on Saturday, the Half Marathon and 8k on Sunday, Team Challenges and other events in between!
